Annual 5K Walk/Run

The 7th Annual 5K on October 3rd

Grab your running shoes and PINK swag and join us on the 1st Saturday of October, as we RUN into our Think Pink events with the 7th Annual Nor-Cal Breast Cancer Connection 5K Walk/Run.

Event Date: October 3, 2026 at 9:30 AM

The event will be held on October 3, 2026 at the Turtle Bay Exploration Park Arboretum. Proceeds from this event go towards the expansion of the Breast Cancer Detection Fund. These funds help provide breast cancer detection screening or other breast cancer diagnostic services for those who do not have adequate insurance coverage.

Event Details

Register to Run

  • Adults $25, Youth (18 and under) $15, Kids 5 & under are Free
  • Packet pickup will be held on Friday and a location to be determined. Merch will be available for early purchase. Packets will also be available at the event from 8:15am - 9:00am

Race Day

  • Arrive 8:15am. Get there early to enjoy the entertainment and enter the raffle drawing!
  • Same-Day Race Registration 8:15am - 9:00am
  • Race begins at 9:30am
  • Raffle drawing will be held during the race
  • Award ceremony for 1st Place based on age groups, and overall male and female winner

There is a 98% survival rate when breast cancer is caught and treated early! It is our hope that through advocacy and outreach education within our surrounding Northern California communities, women and men will recognize the importance of annual mammograms; monthly breast self-exams, and other early detection tools.

For 30 years, our organization has been part of the fabric of this community — supporting individuals and families impacted by breast cancer with compassion, care, and connection.

As we’ve grown, so has our understanding of what our community needs. Today, our work goes beyond awareness — we are building meaningful connections, providing education, and offering direct support through our Breast Cancer Detection Fund.

That’s why we are proud to share that Nor-Cal Think Pink is becoming Nor-Cal Breast Cancer Connection.

This new name reflects who we are today and the future we are building — one rooted in connection, support, and ensuring that no one has to face breast cancer alone.

While our name is changing, our mission — and our heart — remain exactly the same.
